2026 SelectUSA Startup Delegation from Taiwan
The 2026 SelectUSA Startup Competition, organized by Taiwan's Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SME), selected 23 potential startups to compete at the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Maryland — connecting Taiwanese innovators with U.S. investors, resources, and landing opportunities across Defense, Energy, Health, ICT/Software, and Open Tech.

To support Taiwanese startups in scaling into the United States, the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs organized the 2026 SelectUSA Startup Competition through its Taiwan Accelerator Plus (TAcc+) program. Since 2022, SMESA has annually selected 10 to 15 high-potential startups, providing incentives, training, and resources to help them compete at the SelectUSA Investment Summit — the premier investment promotion summit hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The 2026 Summit will be held in Maryland, bringing together cabinet-level officials, state representatives, multinational corporations, and startup leaders from around the world. The Summit's dedicated Tech Program features trend keynotes, pitch competitions, and ecosystem networking sessions designed to help startups access U.S. market entry resources and forge strategic partnerships.
This year, 23 startups have been selected, spanning five key sectors: Defense, Energy, HealthTech, ICT/Software, and Open Tech. These companies demonstrate advanced technologies, strong engineering capabilities, and global growth ambition, and are well-positioned to build partnerships and scale within one of the world’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems.
Below are profiles of the 23 startups selected by TAcc+ to attend SelectUSA.
