The Singapore government is actively developing Singapore into a deep-tech hub in Asia. With its well-developed startup ecosystem, continuous integration of high-quality international talent, a friendly investment environment, and open business policies, Singapore is an excellent springboard for startups to enter the international market. The Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) is promoting the Taiwan-Singapore Startup Exchange Program for the fourth consecutive year. The program, led by Startup Terrace Kaohsiung (STK) and Singapore's national incubator, Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), aims to deepen bilateral innovation collaboration and create an international marketing platform for startups.

In addition to gathering international mentors from Southeast Asia, providing customized courses and one-on-one consultation, this program also connects Singapore's venture capital, community, academic research institutions and corporate partners to organize business opportunity and investment matchmaking meetings, and connect on-site administrative resources, in order to build a complete entrepreneurial resource network to assist startups in entering Southeast Asia.

Furthermore, during the on-site training in Singapore, STK partnered with Startup Island Taiwan project of the National Development Council (NDC) to lead startups in participating in SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology), the Asia's leading startup expo. With over 20,000 attendees from 50 countries, it provided an excellent global showcase for startups and helped them explore collaboration opportunities in the ASEAN, European and American markets.
