  • Eligibility: Startups with funding stages earlier than or at Series B, regardless of industries, are all welcomed. Innovative technologies or business models are required. Applicants must be registered companies (applications from sole proprietorships or unincorporated businesses will not be accepted) and meet Taiwan’s SME qualification standards (paid-in capital under NTD 100 million or fewer than 200 regular employees). Companies must currently be in operation, and the year of establishment must be after 2010. Each company may submit only one fundraising proposal. Complete application information will facilitate the subsequent document review process.
  • Moreover, startups should comply with the “Standards for Identifying Small and Medium-sized Enterprises”, whose paid-in capital below 100 million NTD, with no more than 200 regular employees. Each company is restricted to apply for one fundraising business plan only, and completeness of the registration form will definitely be a plus to the review afterwards.
  • Admission criteria: The evaluation will be carried out based on BP contents. All of the items in the registration form are required, qualification will be cancelled if failing to hand in pitch deck/slides by deadline.
  • To encourage participation from fresh startups, this event will prioritize startups who haven't been selected into any matchmaking conference held by FINDIT.
  • Matchmaking involves investment and negotiations on equities. This event is open to startups who have established companies only. If the founder/co-founder are foreigners, one should have established the company in Taiwan.
  • After registration is completed, the organizer would conduct qualification review, and make sure all information handed in are complete and consistent. Startups whose registration materials are incomplete/inconsistent should hand in additional materials by the deadline set by the organizer, otherwise your registration is incomplete and would not enter review process afterwards.
  • Please be sure to upload the business plan (BP) after filling out the registration form to complete the registration process. To draft your pitch deck/slides, please find reference at https://user331246.pse.is/94muvx. Please be noted that incompleteness may impact the review result. As for BP format, both PPT and PDF are acceptable, and the length should be within 20-25 pages. Yet WORD format (or WORD format converted into PDF) is not acceptable and would be regarded as invalid registration. No further notification would be given afterwards.
  • Registration does not ensure any qualification. All BPs will be sent to professional consultants for further review. The organizer will notify the result and feedback from consultants via email on July 28 (Tue.)
  • The selected startups are required to participate in 1-hour pre-date meeting on August 25 (Wed.) afternoon.
  • For the selected startups, the entry qualification is restricted to founder/co-founder (with power of management and decision-making), no more than two persons.
  • To ensure the rights of all registered startups, if selected startups are unable to come owing to any urgent and inevitable factors, please notify the organizer at least 7 days before (by August 4). The organizer reserves the rights to limit and refuse future application for absentees without reasonable explanation.
  • Please refer to FAQ for frequently asked questions.
  • The organizer is entitled to the right of arranging matchups for startups.
  • Speed Dating opens to the selected startups and investors only.
