The company is a Japanese venture capital firm affiliated with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), the largest financial group in Japan by assets. It focuses on investments in deep tech, life sciences, and related sectors. In 2022, the firm jointly established the Taiwan–Japan Fund III (Golden Asia Fund III) with Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC). The fund has raised US$49.5 million to invest in high-potential companies from both sides.
